Yes, every designer and average Internet user might have noticed that this is the HTML code that allows us to link to a resource. The code is simple, right? Okay, but how we do it usable.

Not misled us, sometimes the small things that seem simple, are what really matter. The use of keywords chosen to link the texts is something that is really capital for us and for those who receive the link. Any content management system should be aware that the selection of one set of magic words that will link to another page or content from another website are crucial for the valuation of the resource.

Take a simple example. Imagine your website has a section called Latest News. It is obvious that the link text helps visitors to identify briefly the contents of the resource at hand, however inadequate. Now imagine that the link points to an article dealing with "Fire in the National Library. If resource use to call the latest news and updates section is more than likely people will pass over, since it has lower impact factor than the headline of the article itself.

And not only the use of one or another is important for visitors, but search engines also use links and how they are used to give weight to some pages over others. Moreover, the use of the resource owner will climb the ranks in the search results of Internet users.

But if what you want is to embark in a truly effective campaign links, so you must keep in mind is perfectly capable of selecting and carefully keyword phrases and incorporate them in the titles of articles and links you use. Even you must plantearte having to try to influence the webmaster linking to you to correct your links if you think they do it incorrectly.

Title text

Include keywords in the text is very attractive to visitors and is essential in a marketing ploy for impact within the search engines. You choose the titles to try to influence the choice of words that a webmaster will choose to link you.

This is because if your title is meaningful and useful, another webmaster copiártelo seek, or at least edit it as little as possible, so that it saves you the trouble of having to create a new one with more content about what you want transmit.

Text Link

We treat two types of links: Internal and external. For some search engines like Google both are important so we will try both.

Internal links, which you make into your website, are under your control, so you have opportunities to use keywords to enhance it. There are still many people who through laziness uses phrases like "Start" or "Read more", however it is to seek to avoid these words and phrases used to enrich as much as possible the link.

Another good tactic is to introduce some variety into the text lexicographic use to create your links. The act of writing with a certain richness in the vocabulary of your articles, and say the same hue from different points of view, grab the reader. The variety in the vocabulary within the text of the link will provide information added to the search engines.

Regarding external links, which are the links you receive through other websites, you can come to believe that you are at the mercy of what they decide the webmaster of the pages that you link, which is partly true, although There are various situations in which you can control the links you receive. For example, we have two:

  • Reciprocal links between a website and yours, where you can ask to join in a certain way.
  • List of directories where there is editorial control and can specify exactly the text that you want to be linked

is certainly the advice you give but facing Google is highly recommended to vary the text that binds naturally, do not always use the name of the web but descriptive phrases.

If the text is always the same what you get is that Google understands that it is not natural and the result is reflecting negatively on the results of the web.
